  • Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Unfortunately, the number of recent referrals means I have closed my books to ensure current clients have ongoing appointments.

The journey to your healthier self is deeply personal, but you don’t have to do it alone.

I specialise in treating Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and associated difficulties such as sleep problems, reliance on substances, depression, anxiety, and relationship difficulties. As a psychologist with a clinical doctorate relating to police officers and PTSD, I am especially interested in helping first responders manage work stress and trauma.

I have an empathic, warm approach based on knowing how hard it can be to acknowledge that you are struggling. Using evidence-based therapies I will work with you to facilitate change. I have a collaborative style and will tailor treatment to suit you. Together we will explore how your experiences contributed to where you are now, and set goals for meaningful change. I understand the debilitating effects of trauma and that seeking help can be even more anxiety provoking. Know that discomfort is key to change.

I can be contacted at the practice on 02 4365 0520.

I seek to bring a warm, respectful and non-blaming approach to counselling and community work. I appreciate learning the stories of your life and supporting you as you negotiate with grief and loss, depression, trauma, stress, anxiety, deconstructing and reconstructing spirituality, considerations of identity and sexuality, challenges of immigration, navigating polyamorous relationships and ongoing health challenges.

I am registered with Medibank Private, Bupa, HCF and the Australian Regional Health Group (ARHG). Other funds may provide cover for counselling; please confirm your entitlements with your provider. Sessions are also available under WorkCover NSW and the NDIS.
