Psychology Perspective is a close-knit team of experienced psychologists and counsellors who genuinely care about the people we work with. We support individuals, couples, adolescents and families through a wide range of mental health concerns, with particular depth in trauma-related work.
Many of the people who come to us have lived through experiences that are difficult to carry alone — first responder trauma, relationship breakdown, chronic pain, addiction, gambling difficulties, forensic matters, questions of identity or sexuality, or the complex social pressures faced by young people. Whatever brings you here, we take the time to understand your story before deciding together what might help.
We work collaboratively and thoughtfully as a team, underpinned by a strong culture of shared thinking, consultation and mutual respect. You will also be supported by our reception team, who are often the first point of contact and do all they can to ensure your experience is welcoming, calm and seamless from the first phone call onwards.
We are committed to evidence-based practice, but we are equally committed to being real and human in the room. Ongoing professional development is part of who we are — not because it sounds impressive, but because our clients deserve care that reflects current knowledge and thoughtful clinical practice.
Inclusivity is not an afterthought here. We are LGBTQIA+affirming, culturally respectful, and mindful of the value of diverse experiences. Our aim is to create a space that feels steady, safe, and free of judgement — somewhere you can speak openly and be met with respect.
There is no single pathway to healing. Some people need structure and practical strategies, while others need space to process painful experiences at their own pace. Most need a combination of both. We tailor our work to you so therapy feels useful, sustainable and aligned with your goals.
At its heart, Psychology Perspective is about thoughtful care for clients and for one another. We are here to walk alongside you as you build resilience, clarity and a stronger sense of self.
